Jeana Womble, Co-Director

I'm an Arizona native, born and raised in Glendale. The 5th of 8 children, 6 brothers and 1 amazing sister. (My brothers are pretty cool, too.)

I met my hubby of 28 years in the BYU marching band. We were in the trombone section together. (But that's a whole other story for another time.) Got my bachelor's in Recreation Management and Youth Leadership while there. We have 5 children, 2 boys and 3 girls.

I play(ed) saxophone, trombone, and piano, but singing has always been tops in my musical priorities. I love keeping in shape, gardening and landscaping, writing Christian science-fiction romance, and was a professional dog trainer in a past life.

I'm also very active with my family in my local congregation, Craig 1st Ward, of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Mary Lynne James--for those of you who know her--was actually the one who 1st introduced me to Sweet Adelines when my husband and I traveled to Craig in early 2007 for a general surgeon job interview. That fall I joined the, then, Yampa Valley Chorus. It's been an incredible ride for sure!
